This cool Bench Coffee Table from Georgia artists Dryads Dancing is made entirely from recycled, reclaimed, or salvaged items! This skinny coffee table can be used in a million different places. A coffee table isn't a bad idea, the end of a bed, underneath a window or as a bench for a dining table. The antique wood is pieced and set securely on a solid surface and then rests in a welded steel frame. The steel has been soften with hand sanding and a patina that is rich and warm. This versatile piece is as eco-friendly as it is handsome. The wood we use is salvaged from houses in the south slated for demo. The warm patina that time and the elements create warms the contemporay lines. Contemporary furniture is the newest addition to the dryads line. We use the beautiful reclaimed wood with the authentic paint to create the patched together surfaces. We plane the wood down so it is smooth and then add a coat or two of heavy matte lacquer. The welded steel frame makes the furniture very strong and durable. We hand sand the steel to soften the edges and then patina to an antique bronze. Since we do all the metal fabrication in house we can make custom pieces. Choose from Green or Natural Metal Finish (Green Finish shown). Dimensions: 47" x 18" x 17".
