This Blue Fin Tuna by Mark Gottschalk of The Wooden Fish Market is an amazing work of art & the perfect gift for an enviromentalist and fisherman alike! This sculpture is made of aluminum and mahogany. Three layers of 1/4" aluminum are used on parts of the fins and tail and are polished on the front side. The African Mahogany has been dyed with water based dyes and then finished with water based lacquer. Dyes instead of stains are used to prevent clouding the beautiful grains and patterns of the wood and to bring out the vibrant color of mahogany. Each piece is signed and dated and comes complete with the wall hanger, screws, and related hardware. The piece ships fully crated to prevent damage. Dimensions: 30 3/4" x 15 1/2" x 2 1/4" with 1/4th" thick aluminum accents.
