Shipping Methods & Charges
Displayed below the price on each item you'll find the S&H (Shipping & Handling) charges listed. The amount listed is what you will be charged to have that item delivered to any address in the continental US. These rates are not valid to Alaska, Hawaii, or Internationally.
Please Note: Because we use UPS or FedEx as our preferred shipper, we do not ship to PO Boxes.
Many larger furniture items or oversized pieces require special consideration in shipping and delivery. Because these items are either too large or heavy to ship via UPS, USPS, or FedEx, they must be shipped via Private Trucking Companies. You'll find exact shipping fees w/in the continental US listed on all items. If an item does require shipping via a Private Trucking Company, you'll find that information noted in the items description.
Artcraft utilizes two types of Private Trucking Companies. Please refer to the products detail page to see which method of delivery will be utilized for that piece. Some items require a BLANKET WRAP DELIVERY SERVICE. Other deliveries require a FREIGHT DELIVERY SERVICE.
Blanket Wrap Delivery Service
Furniture that is shipped with a BLANKET WRAP DELIVERY SERVICE will be placed inside the main threshold of the home and require no package removal or assembly. If a Blanket Wrap carrier is used to ship your item, the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery time. Deliveries are scheduled within a four-hour window. If you are unable to meet the delivery driver at your scheduled appointment time, please call in advance to reschedule your delivery. If delivery cannot be scheduled within 10 days, applicable storage fees may apply. Please be sure to notify us if you plan to be unavailable to accept delivery for an extended period of time. Once in their possession a Blanket Wrap Carrier has 14 bussiness days to make your delivery. Certain remote or hard to reach areas may require additional time.
Freight Delivery Service
Furniture that is shipped with a FREIGHT DELIVERY SERVICE will not be placed inside your home. A Freight Service is a Trucking Company and not a “delivery service.” A single truck driver may require your assistance to offload your package/s from the truck. Items shipped via Freight Service will be packaged in a large box/s and may include a shipping pallet. The receiver is responsible for unpacking, placing these furnishings in the room of your choice, and discarding the packing materials. Any assembly will also be the responsibility of the purchaser. Deliveries are scheduled within a four-hour window. If you are unable to meet the delivery driver at your scheduled appointment time, please call in advance to reschedule your delivery. If delivery cannot be scheduled within 10 days, applicable storage fees may apply. When your order arrives it is critical that you unpack and inspect the packages prior to signing for the delivery. Artcraft cannot be held responsible for damage that is not noted at the time of delivery.
